Study of the process of combining encapsulated Liquid Crystal and
Electroluminescent components into a single printable bulk material.
These research and development partnerships, and associated research programmes, are aimed at delivering a mix of both near to market and longer term technology enhancements, and gaining a fundamental understanding of the underlying light generation process.
For near to market programmes, bench-top, laboratory prototypes move rapidly to pilot production and then to qualification, providing our customers with commercial access to the most advanced plastic thick film display technology available.
