    Colin worked as a corporate finance director for 15 years, principally with Albert E Sharp in Birmingham. Since the 1990's he has worked with fast moving technology businesses working across varied sectors including engineering, retail and construction.&

    Included in his current roles he is a founder and Chairman of 3G Comms which is a Vodafone service provider to the SME market. He is Chairman of two venture capital backed companies, Pelikon and ZBD Displays and a director of AVEVA Group Plc, a listed business with a market capitalisation of approximately £200m. He also holds non-executive positions with an OFEX listed training company and an East Midlands private property group.

    Colin has wide experience of growing businesses, both organically and by acquisition to deliver shareholder value.

    Mike is an experienced CEO of technology enterprises within the optoelectronic design and manufacturing arena.

    In 1991 Mike founded IOC using venture capital, and successfully completed an IPO in 1997. Subsequently in 2000 the NASDAQ quoted company SDLI acquired IOC. In 2000, Mike moved to the USA founding K2Optronics, a fibre optics component design and manufacturing company based and operating in the Bay area.

    Following his return to the UK , Mike provided consultancy services to organisations operating in the optoelectronics arena before joining Pelikon as CEO.

    Chris graduated from Downing College, Cambridge in 1990 with an honours degree in Engineering and took up a position with Marconi Underwater Systems as a development engineer. Subsequently, Chris joined the Measurement Based Products Group of Cambridge Consultants Ltd, leading the group from January 1998.

    Chris's engineering experience lies in the sensors and instrumentation side of electronics, combining an understanding of physics with experience in analogue electronic design and signal processing techniques. Chris has worked on a variety of projects covering a wide selection of technical disciplines.

    Chris heads the research and development team based at the Cambridge site, and is responsible for the development of Pelikon's innovative drive electronics, novel display constructions and advances in manufacturing techniques.

    Simon is a highly experienced Chartered Accountant and manufacturing finance professional with over 10 years financial management experience in both private practice and manufacturing businesses. His former roles have been with Price Waterhouse and Deloitte & Touche and Financial Controller for a telecoms company that was acquired by Marconi Plc. As Finance Director of Pelikon, Simon brings established skills in financial and business performance management, business planning and HR management.

    Hugh has worked for more than 20 years in sales, marketing, licensing, and general management within the IT sector. This has included time with Plessey, Computer 2000, Hitachi, and Xaar. In particular, he has a career record of accomplishment of driving and managing significant revenue growth.

    Hugh has extensive international experience, having established and managed sales teams in China, Japan, India and the US - as well as Europe.

    Most recently, Hugh spent six years as the Sales and Marketing Director of Xaar plc, the Cambridge based inkjet technology company, from the launch of their first products to their current position as the world leader in industrial printhead sales.
