MFLEX UK is a world leader in the development and commercial application of SmartInk and Morphpads

MFLEX UK Ltd., ,formerly Pelikon, was founded in September 2000 backed with an initial financing led by Advent Venture Partners. In 2001 the advanced displays team from Cambridge Consultants Ltd. (CCL) joined Pelikon and pioneered the development of a new flexible display called pSEL - Printed Segmented Electroluminescence.

R&D activities create exciting new opportunities

Current research activities are providing material performance and fabrication breakthroughs, enabling graphic displays with passive multiplexing, active multiplexing and liquid crystal electroluminescent (LC-EL) hybrids.

Technology allowing the pSELâ„¢ Intuitive Touch Displays to be used outdoors is currently being developed.

These exciting developments will expand phosphor electroluminescence in to the passive multiplexed LCD territory, and will open new markets for this technology
